Traditionally pH measurement has been associated with problems mainly caused by the very high electrical impedance of the pH electrode. This high impedance meant that any trace of moisture near the connections to the electrode could “short out” the signal from the electrode.
At the same time it was easy for electrical “noise” to disturb the signal between the electrode and the transmitter. The extra sealing in OxyGuard pH and redox probes prevents moisture from being a problem, and an impedance converter in the probe eliminates electrical disturbance. There are both light duty and heavy duty versions for immersion, submersion, flow-through and thread-mounting.

PH and Redox Probes – for both light duty and more demanding use, they all have impedance converters that effectively eliminate any electrical signal disturbance problems. They have a special sealing so that moisture problems are also eliminated, and can operate under water indefinitely.
